About the University Research Clinic
Hammel Neurorehabilitation Centre and University Research Clinic (HNRC) conducts patient-centered research in neurorehabilitation with the integration of research to clinical practice at an international level. The research approach is multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and intersectorial.
At HNRC senior researchers, post doc.’s, PhD students and clinical staff work closely together in the pursuit to answer relevant research questions that can positively impact the rehabilitation of people with an acquired brain injury, their relatives, the health professionals in the field and the scientific national and international society.
We have a responsibility to secure knowledge transfer from research to practice, to publish our results and to uphold external funding to ensure the sustainability of the research staff, the progression of our projects and to develop new groundbreaking methods.
The daily research management at HNRC is organized in six Research Groups (RG). The RGs work closely together with many interdisciplinary and cross-group projects. Each Head of RG holds as minimum a PhD, and are responsible for the progression of the RGs projects, research strategies and external funding strategies.
The Research Groups are as follows:
- The Clinical Business Intelligence Research Group; research and clinical support in health data
